Summary:
In this role you will assist the Director of Network Services and Security in maintaining the company infrastructure and communicating with all other departments to collaborate /roll out continuous improvement initiatives within Business Technology. The successful candidate will be well organized, efficient, professional and will have excellent communication skills. He or she will be able to work with a variety of people and departments collaboratively to deliver high value tasks on time and within budget.
Essential Functions or Responsibilities:
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
Participate in establishing practices, templates, procedures, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for Business Technology and organization
Adhere to KCC’s Change Control processes
Provide status reporting regarding project deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership
Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
Respond to all tickets and related e-mails for internal issues
Work all assigned tickets in a timely manner to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines
Provide end user support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Assist with the new hire, terminated employee, and internal transfer process
Support the build and deployment process, update system images, and maintain full environment device inventories
Mobile device support for the company including company phones and service division tablets
Help to maintain the loaner device program as well as disaster recovery device inventory
Production line end user device and user support
Update Active Directory requests
Troubleshoot network switchports and network patch issues
Work with the team to complete quarterly end user device software reviews and identify software that cannot be patched and report to Management
Update tracking for physical security systems (i.e., camera system, alarm panels, and badge readers) and place vendor service/support calls for all identified issues
Maintain and secure all infrastructure areas
Qualifications/Skills:
To be considered for this position the applicant must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking an associate degree or higher
Candidate must also have a current GPA of 3.00 or higher
Technical writing skills are required
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Candidate should have strong desire to learn and grow
