School Psychologist: You’ll be the Navigator Charting the Course for Student Success at Katz Hillel Day School!

Position Type: Full-Time School Psychologist (You’ll be an Emotional and Academic Navigator)

We're on the lookout for a School Psychologist Navigator, someone who's ready to guide our students through the seas of emotional and academic challenges with wisdom, empathy, and insight.

Your Voyage Responsibilities:

  • Chart the emotional and psychological waters of our students, providing support, guidance, and a listening ear.
  • Hold the compass for individualized support plans, ensuring every student finds their path to personal and academic success.
  • Be the lookout for signs of distress or difficulty, ready to intervene with strategies that steer students back to calm waters.
  • Collaborate with educators and families, mapping out coordinated efforts to support the holistic well-being of our students.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions, sharing your navigational charts with others so we can all sail more smoothly.

Your Navigator’s Compass:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, your chart for understanding the depths of student needs.
  • Proven experience guiding young explorers through the complexities of school life.
  • A natural ability to connect with students, offering them a safe harbor in times of storm.
  • Skills in navigating the educational system, ensuring every student’s journey is as smooth as possible.
  • A lifelong learner, constantly seeking new knowledge and techniques to better chart the course.
