Katy Gatson Urgent Care is a state of the art medical facility located in the heart of Katy, Texas. At Katy Gatson Urgent Care, we are dedicated to providing excellent and compassionate care to the community. We pride ourselves on treating all patients like family.

Katy Gatson Urgent Care offers individual care on a walk-in and same-day availability. We offer urgent care treatment for most minor and serious non-fatal injuries and illnesses as well as preventative, pediatric, and occupational medical services.

Katy Gatson Urgent Care is superior to from an emergency room care in many ways. Our team of medical professionals treats all urgent non-life threatening conditions, with a patient focused approach which is more affordable than hospital emergency care. That includes injuries, like lacerations, sprained ankles, and broken bones, as well as illnesses like flus, migraines, and bladder infections. Our walk in center also provides a variety of well patient services including physicals, insurance certifications, employment screenings, and complete well woman care.

Our mission is to provide personalized care that works with your schedule. Our doctors and medical professionals will take their time to explain treatments and provide information and educational literature.

1. Conducts and documents comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations based on age and diagnosis, including psychological status.

2. Synthesizes data and utilizes evidence to develop, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care, including ordering and interpreting laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic studies/results.

3. Demonstrates proficiency in technical/procedural skills, as appropriate based on specialty and training.

4. Provides relevant management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients, families and caregivers related to current care and preventive health measures.

5. Facilitates/participates in quality related initiatives through planned group processes, workshops, seminars, and staff meetings, to improve clinical and system practice performance.

6. Routinely applies evidence based best practices to patient care.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities of Position

• Accuracy and ability to exercise considerable judgment.
• Ability to maintain current customer service, clinical, and technical skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and provide suggestions for improvements in departmental policy, procedures, and protocols.
• Proficient use of EMR in the delivery of care

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
