Description
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Greet and seat guests, presents menus, and inform guest of special menu items.
· Treats guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.
· Takes names on a waiting list, and accurately quotes wait times.
· Runs the floor plan board.
· Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
· Answers phone calls and questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
· Cleans, organizes, and stocks menus at host area.
· Interacts with guests coming in and as they leave, ensure a positive dining experience.
· Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Excellent communication skills (verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests)
· Must be able to read, write and determine wait time based on company’s procedures.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
· Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
· A willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
· California Food Handlers card is required for all food service employees who prepare, store, and serve food.
