We are seeking Distance Learning Support Specialists to assist Kate's Korner in creating an amazing space for children to learn and grow during the Distance Learning Programing.

Responsibilities/ Duties

• Create an exciting and inviting learning environment that is welcoming to all students.

• Support students while they participate in their distance learning online instruction by maintaining school and program expectations.

• Facilitate and support assigned learning pod student transitions, i.e. in a class, between classes, during lunch, and breaks

• Ensure students' academic and social-emotional needs are met by creating fun and engaging activities

• Follow ALL safety and health protocols.

• Weekly communication with parents on students’ progress.

• Maintain consistent communication with the Bull City CoLab Organizers through one-on-one check-ins and team meetings

• Attend and participate in kick-off program training

• Set-up and clean-up the pod environment each day

• Participate in morning and afternoon pick-up and drop-off

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience working with children ( previous experience required)

• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple schedules and activities simultaneously

• Willingness to adhere to and uphold health and safety standards

• Exhibits a passion for working with students

• Builds strong relationships with each child and their family

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $13.00 per hour
