Position Introduction:

This is a full time, permanent position, and an opportunity to work with a fun, family orientated organization in a growing company division. We are looking for a Shop Hand who will be responsible for supporting all inner working function of the shop to ensure a smooth liaison between the field employees and our clients. Entry-level Shop Hands are welcome to apply, as we are willing to train the right person who is looking to build a long-term career. 

This job is a safety-sensitive position and therefore, you must pass a drug and alcohol test to be eligible for employment.

Role Accountabilities:

• Daily review of project board and/or work assignments.
• Assist in the maintenance, shop keeping standards and small repairs of products/item as shown/directed.
• Ensure workstations are clean, safe, organized and all tools are maintained as per guidelines.
• Support in all areas of the facility and other related duties as required
• Compliance with all safe work practices, company policies and regulations
• Report any unsafe work conditions or behaviors to your direct reporting supervisor.
• Job-related training including the technology used by the company and specific to my position
• Accurate completion all required paperwork and documentation

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate organizational skills
• Computer skills are required (Microsoft Office products)
• Knowledge of company products an asset
