Job Description
Weddings, galas, happy hours, concerts, mitzvahs, backyard gatherings, fundraisers we do it all! Inspired by our passion for quality food and our love of helping guests create one of a kind memories, CRAVE Catering is a full service catering company dedicated to making events unforgettable.
We are looking for hospitable, enthusiastic, dependable, hard-working servers to join the team.
This is an hourly paid position with business that operates seven (7) days a week. Most events are in Minneapolis, but we cater all over the metro area. Reliable transportation is required. Schedule is very flexible accept or decline the events you want.
Pay: $20/hour with potential for additional gratuity
Duties
- Serving food & beverages to guests at all types of events.
- Event set up & tear down of food stations and displays, table sets, etc.
- Serve and execute plated meals, passed appetizers, buffets, food stations, etc.
- Clear dishes and glassware from tables.
- Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through your actions.
- Be attentive and aware! Offer your assistance to guests whenever you are at an event.
- Work with the team of catering personnel to maintain event, a positive atmosphere, and efficient food & beverage service.
- Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness for smooth operation of the event.
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
- Other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Multi-task oriented.
- Understanding food sensitivities, intolerances and allergies.
- Weekend availability
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
