Kaskaid Hospitality is Hiring a Catering/Event Server Near Minneapolis, MN

Job Description

Weddings, galas, happy hours, concerts, mitzvahs, backyard gatherings, fundraisers – we do it all! Inspired by our passion for quality food and our love of helping guests create one of a kind memories, CRAVE Catering is a full service catering company dedicated to making events unforgettable.

We are looking for hospitable, enthusiastic, dependable, hard-working servers to join the team.

This is an hourly paid position with business that operates seven (7) days a week. Most events are in Minneapolis, but we cater all over the metro area. Reliable transportation is required. Schedule is very flexible – accept or decline the events you want.

Pay: $20/hour with potential for additional gratuity

Duties

  • Serving food & beverages to guests at all types of events.
  • Event set up & tear down of food stations and displays, table sets, etc.
  • Serve and execute plated meals, passed appetizers, buffets, food stations, etc.
  • Clear dishes and glassware from tables.
  • Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through your actions.
  • Be attentive and aware! Offer your assistance to guests whenever you are at an event.
  • Work with the team of catering personnel to maintain event, a positive atmosphere, and efficient food & beverage service.
  • Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness for smooth operation of the event.
  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
  • Other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-task oriented.
  • Understanding food sensitivities, intolerances and allergies.
  • Weekend availability
  • Ability to bend, lift, and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
