Job Title: Proposals Manager

Location: Local, In-Office, Hybrid schedule

We are looking for a new Proposals Manager to join our Sales Team. Our customers use our software for critical work in public safety and corporate security, and it is our mission to make them incredibly successful in their job. That’s where you come in. You will participate in and support the complete proposal and contracting processes for our sales leads.

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Capture, and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and operations
  • Maintain subscriptions to all RFP monitoring and submission systems, ensuring the organization is aware of all relevant RFPs and submissions are submitted completely and on-time
  • Coordinate and manage the proposal process, following standard procedures, including planning, review, and production of statements of qualifications and proposals
  • Preparation and delivery of compliant, detailed, and professionally produced proposals, responses, questionnaires, and other ancillary documents such as security assessments, terms and conditions and contracts
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously and to support different sales verticals
  • Strong English language, document design and graphics skills
  • Development and management of various document template libraries and standards for use by the Sales and Marketing teams
  • Manage the production and delivery of a variety of detailed sales products to include proposals, RFP and RFI responses, contracts, presentations, technical documentation and more
  • Verifies complex technical solutions, strategies and themes are easily understandable, readable and compelling
  • Remarkably strong attention to detail. You will provide quality control checks to include proofreading for grammar, formatting, compliance and conformance to RFP requirements, and the company's established strategies and messaging
  • Capture and maintain meticulous details and documentation of details in the company’s CRM and contracting documentation

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Experience and deep understanding of complex RFP and and proposal processes
  • Current or prior Security Clearance (Preferred)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ambition, motivation, and drive that are second to none
  • Expertise in crafting compelling, clear, and persuasive proposals tailored to complex customer needs and industry standards
  • Ability to explain complex solutions clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience
  • Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, deadline management and finalization of deliverables
  • Proven ability to drive the various complexities and moving parts of enterprise software deals and close the deal
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and Adobe Creative Suite including In Design (Photoshop and Illustrator a plus)
  • Strong experience with designing published material is preferred
  • Ability to multitask on multiple projects at the same time
  • Outstanding skills in preparing presentations
  • Proven ability to meticulously manage your time and work outside of the normal “9 to 5” schedule as required
  • Content Writer, Marketing, or SaaS Sales, minimum of 3 years (Required)
  • Strong academic background or writing experience (Required)
  • Substantial experience in sales and marketing (Required)
  • Proven ability to operate successfully in diverse and varied business cultures around the world (Preferred)
  • History of working with large, multi-national System Integration firms (Preferred)
