Karen Lacks & Co. Real Estate is Hiring an Office/Accounting Clerk Near Carpinteria, CA

```Job Summary```
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office/ Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Office Clerk will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to multitask effectively.

```Duties```
- Perform general clerical and accounting duties, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Make calls for repairs, vendors utilitiy companies
- Make professional written and verbal correspondence, including emails

- Check daily incoming emails and assist in answering promptly
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Scan and file documents as required

- Add credit card statements with adding tape
- Provide administrative support to staff members as needed

```Skills```
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in a professional office is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and basic office management

- Basic Bookkeeping skills

- Excellent and accurate with numbers

- Excellent and clear communication

- Experience with using a calculator preferred.

- AA Degree in Accounting or Mathmatics or currently in school working on degree
