We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Elkhart, IN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, with experience in security guard and patrol duties. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Investigate and report any suspicious activity or incidents
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations
- Complete daily reports and logs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security guard license
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
