Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Survey Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for field surveying and be excited about contributing to projects in the Northeast region, specifically in Appleton, WI.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of survey data.
  • Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to obtain accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Operate and maintain surveying instruments and tools.
  • Perform land measurements and boundary calculations.
  • Understand surveying standards and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during fieldwork.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Surveying or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in land surveying is preferred.
  • Familiarity with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and data collectors.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
