Summary/Objective:
The Warehouse & Shipping Clerk verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming product from the Main Plant sort and locate product to correct inventory location.
- Run daily reports to determine items to be shipped.
- Print pick tickets and prepare shipments per instruction.
- Pack, label, and prepare shipment for transport.
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures of items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of landing, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Use a computer for data entry, inventory management, and reports.
- Perform cycle counts per accounting guidelines to maintain accurate inventory.
- Daily housekeeping.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to drive a forklift.
- Intermediate computer skills to include ERP software.
- Basic math skills including an advanced understanding of units of measure, fractions, and decimals.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.

- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate computer and telephone keyboards.

- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at a time.
