Adult Protection Specialist
Position Summary: This position is responsible for investigating and assessing abuse and neglect reports, financial exploitation reports, and assessment of self-neglect reports concerning vulnerable adults. Adult Protection Specialists must meet timelines for response, case findings, and address concerns regarding the safety and ongoing welfare of vulnerable adults resulting from investigations. They ensure referrals and services are provided to maintain safety.
Minimum Qualifications: Four-year degree in a Human Services or Behavioral Sciences field of study, or education determined relevant by the agency. Valid Driver’s License must be maintained throughout employment.
