Base Pay is $20.50 (must become certified to operate a forklift) an hour with a $1.00 shift differential

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for assisting with Warehouse Operations by ensuring direction of Supervisors/Managers is followed and supporting both management and hourly associates to ensure that operational obligations are met while maintaining a consistent focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study preferred; two to five years experience in a high volume warehouse environment; strong oral and written communication skills; PC computer skills; or equivalent combination of education and experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
