Description of the Position:

The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a supply chain operation. The DCM provides overall direction and oversight in the areas of performance, safety, P&L management, customer relations, continuous improvement, and associate development.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the operations of distribution, packaging, and transportation to achieve company objectives and meet customer expectations.
• Evaluate overall operations and develop short and long-term goals to meet organizational objectives.
• Oversee all warehousing, distribution, packaging, and transportation operations to ensure company and customer requirements are met.
• Focus on continuous improvement and make decisions about enhancing value, service and effectiveness, and profitability.
• Direct and oversee programs to ensure safety of all associates, equipment, and property.
• Ensure compliance with all company, customer, and government regulatory requirements.
• Directly manage budget and P&L for operations.
• Develop work plans ensuring appropriate staffing levels, managing labor costs, overtime, and retention.
• Maximizes quality and productivity by understanding and mastering all job standards for each function and evaluating performance variances to identify root cause, corrective action, and training needs.
• Participates in the collection of performance measurements per customer, vendor and/or site requirements.
• Reviews KPIs and makes recommendations for efficiency improvements to both processes and associate performance.
• Establishes a strong relationship with the customer(s).
• Prepares and submits weekly and monthly reports.
• Deliver a consistent, high-performance experience to our associates and customer.
• Know and be capable of communicating quality, food safety, and customer standards to all employees, customers, and 3rd party auditors as needed.
• Follow corporate and site-specific safety policies and procedures, and correct noncompliance when observed
• Know and be capable of communicating safety policies and procedures to all employees as needed.

Salary for fully qualified candidate - $125,000-$135,000/annually
