Role

Kalibrate is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to assist in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from security reviews and defining requirements to deployment and maintenance. The ideal candidate for this position will be primarily responsible for .NET/C# development of APIs and data processing solutions for our enterprise customers but will also have a hand in solution architecture, automation, and DevOps.

This role is a pivotal one within a new division within Kalibrate, so this is a fantastic opportunity to bring your own ideas to the business and provide leadership and guidance to the team. Therefore, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about clean code, test-driven development, security, and designing and implementing elegant solutions to complex use cases. Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications, and implement security and data protection.
• Write automated tests via TDD to foster effective, flexible, and reusable code, build ReSTful APIs and data processing solutions.
• Support all aspects of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, development, code reviews, deployment, and support.
• Assist in documenting and evolving coding best practices for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
• Advanced experience with commercial full stack C#/.NET web development, both front-end and back-end, Test-driven development, secure coding practices and Agile/Scrum project management.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and common front-end frameworks (React, Jquery, etc.), HTML, CSS, Rest APIs, Web Services, and other standard web technologies.
• Experience with one of the following: MongoDB, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift or Snowflake.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
• Experience in Massive Mobile Data, GIS, Spatial Analysis, and/or statistical analysis, Azure.
