Qualifications:
Experience with the classroom environment and with ABA, including the ability to work with the Lead Behavior Specialist and the ABA Manager to improve practices and approach
Behavior Specialists will work inside the classroom to utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies with students to access the adopted curriculum and work towards IEP goals
This position is a school-year position with possible opportunities to work during summer break
Work as part of a classroom team to support academic instruction and behavior plans
Support independent work, special projects, or teaching a lesson to a small group
Assist with classroom planning and preparing of materials with the classroom teacher
Assist students in participating in classroom routines, transitions and self-care tasks as necessary
Implement behavior intervention techniques in alignment with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as directed by ABA Manager or Campus Director
