Job Description

Coordinates system wide resources to meet requested needs and facilitate access to Kaleida Health and ECMC services. Provides extraordinary customer service to all callers.

Identifies services and specialties along with location availability at the request of the caller. Plays a significant role in representing Kaleida Health in the community.

Responsible for outreach to both physicians and the community at-large, to enhance satisfaction around existing relationships and to develop new relationships;

focusing especially on highlighting the value Kaleida Health and its physicians bring to community health care. Provides private pay quotes to physician offices and / or patients.

Works closely with the patient financial services team to ensure accurate quoting, billing and payment. Provides travel assistance to patients receiving services at KH.

Point-of-contact for all web-based service inquiries. These arrangements can include lodging, dining, transportation and entertainment.

Proactively manages Access Center data and shares trends. Participates in leadership updates and provides feedback to service providers.

Identifies opportunities, researches best practice initiatives and offers suggestions to improve access of KH services to all callers.

Help implement and maintain improvements to the Access Center. Supports Kaleida Health's Mission to advance the health care of the community and adheres to Kaleida values at all times.

Specific responsibilities may vary depending upon incumbents department and / or patient needs.

Salary Range

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor or Science required. 3 years of experience in high volume patient facing position within last five years required.

2 years of experience in in a patient care or health insurance setting within the last four years required.
