Currently hiring Oil Field Laborer/Firewatch for work in Caldwell, OH. Applicants should be fluent in jobsite safety and familiar with a Firewatch / Spotter role. Applicants should have 3-5 years minimum of verifiable experience on a construction site.

Oil Field Laborer/Firewatch Responsibilities:

• Operating large construction equipment.
• Learn to recognize hazards that may be faced, including information on the mode, signs or symptoms, and consequences of exposure.
• Maintain communications with entrants to monitor status and to alert entrants of the need to evacuate the confined space, use portable monitors when necessary to sample air quality in the work area.
• Monitor workers completing hot work and if needed extinguish small fires.
• Protect personnel working under fresh air by monitoring the air quality and pressure being delivered to the workers.
• Summon rescue and other emergency services as soon as it is determined that entrants may need assistance to escape from the confined space.
• Remain outside the confined space during confined space operations until relieved by another attendant.

Oil Field Laborer/Firewatch Requirements:

• 3 years of verifiable experience
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• OSHA 10 is a requirement
• Welding experience is a plus
