Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join our team at Kairos Academies High School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage and inspire students. The Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for creating, internalizing, and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student understanding, and fostering a positive learning environment. Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to role-specific responsibilities, all staff at Kairos "coach" a "pod" of students. Coaching involves checking-in with students 2-3 times throughout the week for 10-15 minutes and updating parents regularly on student progress. Coaches mentor students on executive functioning and social-emotional skills such as setting achievable goals, keeping a to-do list, and navigating the highs and lows of school.

Technology Skills
Competence in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use a variety of computer applications and platforms. Ability to use basic office equipment. Knowledge and experience in using a computer-based student Information Management system.
