What could a typical day look like?

A Resident Experience Ambassador is one of the most unique positions in our high-rise luxury communities! This role is a blend of premier customer service, event planning, and resident engagement. This person will exemplify Modern Stewardship in everyday resident relationships and epitomize the Art of Neighboring within the community. Through the Art of Neighboring, we create community beyond the walls of our buildings. We make an investment in resident programming and lean into local partnerships. We value customer-centric service with the goal of creating memorable communities where residents are encouraged to stay with us long term.

You are the Resident Liaison

  • When residents think of the quality of their living experience at the community, you will be one of the first people they think of! Your primary responsibility will be to create an environment where residents feel valued, taken care of, and truly “Welcomed Home!”
  • As the resident’s primary contact, you will be the first to help resolve any issues that arise and promptly follow up to ensure any requests are completed to their satisfaction. 
  • You get the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service to residents through various inquiries, requests, and daily needs. This includes package delivery, dry cleaning, communicating maintenance requests, and more!
  • Sometimes, utilizing outside vendors is necessary, and you will be the source of communication between the vendors, concierge service, and residents. 
  • You will embody the 5% Distinction! To sum up the 5% Distinction, it means going that extra step, the extra mile, the extra 5% to create a moment of distinctive service experience for your residents. 

You are the Event Planner

  • Resident engagement and retention involve events! You will plan, organize, attend, and promote regular community events.
  • When it comes to logistics for events, you are the champion of the organization.
  • You will track and manage various event planning items such as venue booking, catering, decorations, entertainment, etc. 
  •  Every detail matters; therefore, you can add a special, personalized touch for each resident and track attendance to ensure the event is a success. 
  • You will work closely with the Community Director or General Manager to ensure that budgets for the resident events are carefully executed and monitored.

You are the Community Marketing Expert

  • You will be able to work closely with the Kairoi Marketing team to manage all social media platforms, including:
  • Advertising resident events
  • Creating mini-films to showcase the luxury apartment homes
  • Showcasing local business partnerships or outreach events
  • You will also need to fully understand the immediate market and competition. This means you will be responsible for understanding industry trends, resident preferences, and competitive offerings to continually brand and market your community well.
  • You will work to collaborate with neighborhood businesses for resident events and perk programs.

Requirements

Key Skills and Abilities Needed to Succeed in This Role:

  • Strong sales and customer service experience.
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Google and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Excellent follow-up skills via email and phone.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in leasing, sales, or hospitality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
