Kailua Center For Progressive Dentistry, LLC is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Kailua, HI

Kailua Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

Requirements:

1 years of experience in a general dentist office

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Expanded dental assisting skills a plus

Ability to band/wedge/isolate appropriately

Ability to make temporary crown and bridge

Computer Knowledge; Dentrix, Dexis, Softdent and/or Eaglesoft experience a plus

Working knowledge of dental terminology and coding

Ability to understand insurance and frequencies

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide high quality patient care

Assist the dentist with all procedures as well as communicate with dentist and staff about patient needs and concerns

Prepare work space for you and the dentist per procedure

Provide patient education through procedure explanation and post-op care

Enter clear and accurate clinical notes for all procedures performed

Keep a clean work space

Portray impeccable chair side manners

Follow all OSHA/HIPPA guidelines
