Kaeppel Consulting is seeking an experienced Sr. Business Analyst to work on a client's project in San Antonio, TX. This will be a Contracting role, remote to local candidates in San Antonio., TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working on projects that involve technical/system upgrades, process improvement, people engagement, gathering requirements, and redefining business processes. The role requires a mix of technical and business acumen, with a focus on driving business transformation and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Experience bridging process gaps by using as-is modeling techniques in order to support a credible business case in order to implement a "to-be" implementation 
• Analyze and document current business processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Define and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements and business solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive business transformation initiatives.
• Provide expertise in process improvement methodologies and best practices.
• Support the implementation of new processes and systems, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making recommendations for further improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on technical upgrades, process improvement, change management, and business transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements (BRDs).
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
• Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to achieving business goals.
• Local candidates in San Antonio, TX, are preferred.
