Looking for Armed Security Professionals for a Late Night Detail in the 14th & U St. Areas. 

K&T Security is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Armed Security Professionals to join our team and provide top-notch security services for our popular DC Staple located in the U St Corridor in downtown Washington, DC. This opportunity may lead to full-time employment with additional work and hours available during the week.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid DC Armed SPO License
• 2 years of security guard experience
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and patrons
• Properly carry and use a weapon in compliance with District of Columbia regulations
• Greet, check IDs, and enforce COVID-19 safety guidelines in a store environment
• Monitor and control access to premises, ensuring the security of customers, employees, and visitors
• Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas
• Operate detection devices to prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas
• Respond to theft, vandalism, and illegal entry as required
• Wear PPE/safety equipment and report safety hazards/accidents to supervisor

Requirements:

• Must show proof of a current Armed SPO license for the District of Columbia
• Typical shift: 10:00pm-5am
• Reliable transportation
• Own an Android or iPhone to access required websites/apps for clocking in/out and site location
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of security guard experience
• Proficiency in using a weapon and providing excellent customer service
