2nd SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER

K&S WIRE HAS IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR QUALITY PEOPLE TO JOIN OUR
PRODUCTION STAFF. K&S WIRE IS AN INDUSTRY LEADER IN WIRE FORMING

AND WELDING. WE ARE AN EMPLOYEE OWNED COMPANY.
SHIFT: 3:30PM – 2:00AM, MONDAY – THURSDAY
SOME OVERTIME, AS NEEDED

REGULAR DUTIES INCLUDE:
1. Follow and abide by all safety rules adopted by the company.

2.Follow all safe driving requirements necessary when operating forklifts.

3 Required daily paperwork must be completed accurately and neatly. This is to

include but may not be limited to scrap sheets, and forklift inspection sheets.

4. Operate fork trucks, in a tight space and in a safe manner, where applicable.

5. Monitor the operation of the lifts and report discrepancies to the supervisor or
maintenance.

6. Perform a daily inspection on any lift you operate or are responsible for as
assigned.

7. Maintain “WIP” area and dock in a neat and orderly manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Ability to communicate with co-workers

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Must be able to work around moving machinery

• Accomplish quality checks on work

• Keep area clean, adhering to all safety procedures

• Operate machine as assigned while producing quality parts within standards

• Work wearing proper PPE including ear plugs, face masks, and gloves as required
• Must check for chocked wheels before loading or unloading any trucks.
• Must be able to operate weigh scales.

• Must be able to perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to read, speak, and write English

• Good math skills

• High school diploma preferred

• Able to pass Forklift test
