Job Summary:
  • As a Radiologic Technologist at K&S Staffing, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process by operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality medical images.
  • You will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to our commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
  • Greet and prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Position patients correctly and provide shielding as needed to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Radiologic Imaging:
  • Operate radiologic equipment, including X-ray, CT scanners, or MRI machines, to capture diagnostic images.
  • Adjust equipment settings to obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Ensure proper positioning and technique to achieve accurate images.
Radiation Safety:
  • Follow established safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control procedures.
Quality Control:
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on radiologic equipment.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including image annotations and patient information.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to radiologic procedures.
Communication:
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and physicians.
  • Communicate findings and concerns to the healthcare team as required.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong understanding of radiologic equipment and imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
