Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Process customer payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred
- Proven knowledge of bartending techniques, recipes, and mixology
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
