We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical staff. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual

- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar

- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees

- Update patient records with accurate demographic and medical information

- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally

- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations

Experience:

- Previous experience working with phone systems and front desk operations in a medical setting is preferred

- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks is a plus

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is beneficial

- Experience providing medical administrative support is desired

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality is essential

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
