Overview
Immediate opening for a hands-on accounting expert to manage accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll for clinical laboratory OHCUS a d.b.a. of CTON Corporation. Incumbent is expected to conduct organic communication with OHC HQ (South Korea).
Position requires proven financial management skills preferably with a medical institution, strong communication and interpersonal skills (English and Korean); proven accounting track record maintaining clean financial records, clean books, and ensuring accounting and financial reports comply with all necessary regulations; proven technical and system competencies with various accounting systems and business tools; successful management and supervisory experience; and local work permit, such as U.S. permanent residency or citizenship.
Responsibilities
• Acting as chief accountant - maintain and manage company’s accounting and financial activities
• Creating financial statements for clients as well as upper management
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports
• Assisting with budgeting
• Ensuring all accounting practices are in compliance with legal guidelines and established accounting principles, maintaining full understanding of medical industry compliance guidelines
• Assisting with billing and tax documentation preparation
• Working with the company financial team to create internal controls and policies
• Collaborating with the IT department to maintain financial records and system processes
• Identifying solutions to discrepancies in financial records
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher, accounting degree
- Preference given to graduates of universities located in the United States
Language
- Korean & English
Background & Experience
Mandatory
- 5~10 years of work experience in business management
- 3~5 years of work experience at a corporation located in North America
Preferential requirements
- Experience working at a medical institution (hospital/clinic/laboratory, etc.)
- Experience working at MSO (Management Service Organization)
- Experience in medical insurance-related work (Billing, Reimbursement, etc.)
- Experience working at a global company
