Job Overview:
As an Area Commercial Equipment Sales Executive, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell class 5 - class 8 semi-trucks to potential clients. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, providing product information, and effectively communicating the features and benefits of the trucks offered by the company. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, negotiating deals, and achieving sales targets. This is a Monday - Friday, first shift position.
Base Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year (UNCAPPED Commission Program and Volume Bonuses)
With the base salary range listed above, if you don't have any previous heavy duty truck sales experience you'll be on the lower end of the pay scale. If you have multiple years of heavy duty truck sales experience, you'll be towards the top end of the above pay scale.
Realistic First Year Earning Potential: $65,000 - $80,000 (no cap in your commissions/volume bonuses. We provide you with a floor; we don't give you a ceiling.)
Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday - no Saturdays)
Working Arrangement: On-site (100%)
Travel Required: Yes (how much is TBD)

Interview process: 2-3 interviews at the most (depending on if a recruiter is asked to conduct a phone interview or not).
Assessment: A Berke Assessment will be required before your first interview with the hiring manager. Time to take the assessment: 50-60 minutes

The candidate may be based out of our Bolingbrook or Elmhurst, IL dealership. There may be some travel involved to potential customers and our Chicagoland dealerships.
The $5,000 sign-on bonus will be paid out in two equal installments. The first installment ($2,500 gross) will be paid out after your 90 day anniversary and the second installment ($2,500 gross) will be paid out after your 180 day anniversary. No goals, KPIs, or metrics will need to be achieved.
