Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Benefit Specialist to join our team. As a Benefit Specialist, you will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs and ensuring compliance with employment labor laws. This is a crucial role in our organization as you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to employees regarding their benefits.

Duties:
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation
- Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations related to benefits
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in benefits administration
- Assist with the development and implementation of training programs related to benefits
- Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate data collection and reporting for benefits administration
- Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain employee benefit records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist in the coordination of open enrollment activities
- Collaborate with external vendors to manage benefit programs effectively

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Benefit Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as UltiPro or Oracle
- Understanding of employment labor laws and regulations related to benefits administration
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred
- Experience in employee relations is a plus
