Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation. Proficiency in accounting software such as PeopleSoft, UltiPro, ADP, or Paychex is preferred.

Duties:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations

Experience:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles
- Familiarity with accounting software and systems
- Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
