Job Description:

Treat, plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients return to a higher level of physical function after an accident or surgery. You will help patients through a combination of physical activity, reflexology, massage and muscular and skeletal manipulation.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide full spectrum of physical therapy services with specialty in orthopedic care in accordance with the scope of clinical privileges.
• Primary neuromusculoskeletal care includes the exercise professional judgment in the evaluation, treatment and referral of patients with musculoskeletal complaints. The parameters of practice include: issuing profiles, placing personnel on quarters (e.g., bed rest), referring patients to other specialty clinics.
• Plan and administers physical therapy to general medical and surgical patients with single and multiple disabilities such as fractures, sprains, hemiplegia, peripheral nerve injuries, and surgical reconstruction to improve and maintain function. Directly participates in all patient treatment and directly oversees any treatment applied by subordinate.
• Executes a full range of treatment procedures using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual muscle testing, and sparing application of modalities such as heat, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation

Basic Qualifications:

• Master's degree in physical therapy or Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy for graduates prior to January 1, 2002.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in physical therapy in the U.S in outpatient care.
• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy, pain management, and sport physical therapy are preferred 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet

Additional Qualifications:

• Ability to provide professional guidance, counseling, and evaluation and assist in directing activities and training of any assigned student.
• Must be able to pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) and Criminal History Background Check

License/Certifications:

• American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) certification
• Current and unrestricted license.
• Must have Basic Life Support.
