JOB PURPOSE

JVM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer IV to join our team and perform a full range of Engineering services with the Environmental Protection Agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical engineering expertise.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides technical engineering expertise, analysis, design, integration, including problem resolution.
• Completes final analyses and final selection on approaches, technologies, systems, equipment, and layouts.
• Supervises engineering staff in production and provides resources and directions as needed.
• Provides leading role during construction phase follow-up.
• Serves as or directly reports to the Project Manager as a task leader for major systems or phases of the project.
• Plans, conducts, and supervises multiple projects.
• Estimates and schedules work to meet completion dates.
• Directs project staff, reviews progress, and evaluates results, and makes changes in methods, design, or equipment where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 10 years of experience
• Ability to operate with some latitude for unreviewed action or decisions.
• Must be able to pass background check.
