Justine is a high volume, fine dining establishment that is open from Lunch and Dinner seven days a week. We are looking for a professional and experienced Food Expeditor to act as a liaison between the cooks, runner, servers, and guests. Duties will consist of calling orders, managing ticket times, last minute presentation, and coordination of the runners & servers. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Responsibilities

• Help line cooks manage ticket times and priorities.
• Management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to manage oneself & others in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage flow of servers & runners to get food to the guests in a timely manner.
• Check the temperature and presentation of all dishes that come to the window.
• Call out incoming tickets.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Skills

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy is calling out tickets, sending out food, and presentation.
• Familiar with industry’s best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
