JustAgame Fieldhouse and Impressions is Hiring a Tournament Director (FT) Near Wisconsin Dells, WI
Tournament Director - Head of Retail, Food, and BeverageThis position will be a good fit for candidates with the following backgrounds: retail and/or food and beverage management, sales, customer service, marketing, and hospitality.
The hire will be primarily responsible for being creative and ensuring event attendees receive outstanding hospitality and product selection at our retail and concession stands. They will be responsible for managing staff, merchandising, inventory control, maximizing profit, keeping all spaces clean, and equipment in working order.

They will be responsible for managing staff, merchandising, inventory control, maximizing profit, keeping all spaces clean, and equipment in working order.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain attractive and tasteful merchandising and signage in our retail store and concession stands.
- Maximize sales and profit of retail and concession stands.
- Recruit, train, manage and mentor part-time employees to provide incredible customer service.
- Schedule employee shifts.
- Work closely with our JAG Impressions production team to keep retail apparel offerings fresh in our retail.
- Maintain expert and accurate management of our POS system. Pricing, tagging, inventory control, etc.
- Supervise and guide staff to maximize store performance.
- Ensure the concession stands fulfill all legal health and safety guidelines.
- Food service safety training.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Commercial awareness.
- Routinely serve as Tournament Director for events. Largely on weekends.
- Assist in overseeing, managing, and communicating daily schedules in the facility.
- Assist custodial staff to ensure building cleanliness and setup.
- Light bookkeeping work.
- Expert cash management and accuracy.
- Maintain knowledge of the building and all JustAgame Fieldhouse business operations.
- Assist in other departments as needed during slow times.

- Excellent communication and people skills including conflict resolution.
- Enjoys customer service.
- Positive energy and upbeat.
- Extremely organized and neat.
- Strong math and basic computer skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working alone at times.
- Physically capable of working on your feet for hours at a time and moderate lifting.
- Comfortable with non-standard hours and weekends.
- Strong independent problem-solving abilities.
Base compensation is based on qualifications and experience. Bonuses based on performance.
About JustAgame Fieldhouse
JustAgame Fieldhouse is a 57,000-square-foot sports complex in Wisconsin Dells, The Water Park Capital of the World. We are home to 6 basketball courts that are convertible to 10 volleyball courts. Our feature gym is known as The Court of Champions and contains a college-length basketball floor with stadium seating for up to 2,000 fans. We are home to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame and Wisconsin High School Basketball Museum.
In a given year we play host to 85 tournaments, camps, leagues, and special events. Every winter we are the site of 55 neutral site high school varsity games. Each June we host the WBCA High School All-Star games for both boys and girls.
