Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an A.S. degree. Experience / Qualifications Licensed in the State of Florida to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant, American Heart Association BLS Certificatin for Health Care Providers. Position Summary The Physical Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of the Physical Therapist to carry out Physical Therapy plan of care. Carries out Physical Therapy Plan of Care as designed by the Physical Therapist. Assists in the supervision of Rehab Aide personnel. Communicates patient progress to the Physical Therapist with regard to the Plan of Care. Document patient care in accordance with, regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
