Juniper is Growing! We are seeking a Garden Center Associate for our retail center. This position will be responsible for cashier duties, receiving deliveries of plant material, and customer service in our retail garden center.

Responsibilities:

• Use of cash register and credit card machine
• Answer phones
• Loading and unloading plants, supplies, and sod deliveries
• Assist supervisors in daily activities for the garden center
• Professionally interact with customers at our retail garden center
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Assist in ordering materials, scheduling, and production for enhancements

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of plants
• Landscaping and retail sales experience highly desired
• Flexibility to work Saturdays
• Strong customer service skills
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside and inside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
