Jungle Boys is actively seeking a highly skilled Operations & Procurement Manager, who possesses a passion for leadership and a drive to achieve outstanding results within a dynamic and fast-paced business environment. In this pivotal role, you will assume responsibility for strategic sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relationships. The Operations & Procurement Manager will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive procurement support across various categories within the organization.

Requirements:

• Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics: Develop and implement metrics to evaluate procurement activities at all levels. This includes tracking supplier performance, supplier quality, buyer activity levels, and material availability, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.
• Expert negotiation skills: Demonstrate exceptional negotiation abilities to secure favorable prices and overall value for products and services. Develop effective negotiation strategies and successfully secure profitable contracts that align with the organization’s goals.
• Contract management and commercial terms negotiation: Skilled in negotiating commercial terms with vendors, ensuring that contracts and orders are aligned with the organization’s requirements. Effectively manage vendor relationships to maximize value and minimize risks.
• Logistics vendor sourcing: Proactively identify and source reliable logistics vendors for all products, optimizing transportation and supply chain operations and enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
• Cost reduction and inventory management: Take a hands-on approach to develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, supplies performance management, and inventory reduction. Analyze production schedules and inventory levels to determine category needs and implement measures to improve cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain strict compliance with company procurement policies, internal control processes, and industry standards.

Working Environment:
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment can range from low to high. Temperatures in the work environment range from cold and dry to warm and humid, respective to the product processes and plant lifecycle. The work environment requires the use of PPE at all phases, and strict cleaning and cross-contamination protocols. The product and plants are agriculture goods that have the ability to produce odors that may linger, can penetrate clothing, and heighten senses.
