Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Restaurant Cashier. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant. Responsibilities-
Customer Service:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Assist customers in placing orders and provide recommendations when necessary.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
Order Processing:
- Accurately input orders into the POS system.
- Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions with precision.
- Ensure the accuracy of bills and provide customers with the correct change.
Maintain Cleanliness:
- Keep the cashier area and surrounding workspaces clean and organized.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to address any customer concerns.
Cash Handling:
- Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Follow established cash handling procedures to prevent discrepancies.
Qualifications:
