We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access
- Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and appropriately
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors as needed
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
Qualifications:
MUST have a great personality to deal with the general public especially under high level of stress
- Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certificate CPL and understand the laws surrounding deadly use of force
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or private security REQIRED
MUST have own weapon with Level 2 holster with retention and up
Have a bulletproof Vest or Body Armor BLACK Color ONLY
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices
- Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation techniques
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Strong observational skills with the ability to quickly assess situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
