What this position is about :

The purpose of this position is to develop and ensure implementation of the JT International USA sales strategies and programs within the incumbent's assignment to achieve the Company's financial, sales, and volume quarterly / annual targets.

The primary role of the Interal Sales Associate is to support the sales organization by direct retail selling. The incubent will be responsible for contacting retail stores in order to secure distribution, verify program compliance and build partnership.

The duties include handling inbound and outbound calls to and from retailers, listening to customers needs or issues and providing helpful solutions to their problems.

What will you do : Responsibilities

  • Contact retailers for the purposes of gaining distribution and product availability in accordance with the objectives set for the target segementation by the Sales Manager.
  • Work with retailers to merchandise, display, and communicate our products' messages to the ultimate consumer through effective communication / negotiation skills with the retail trade to achieve optimum merchandising, display, and price point communication while building and maintainig relationships.
  • Plan follow up contacts for compliance verification and performance tracking.
  • Maintain proper, accurate and timely reporting of all activities within the sales operating systems
  • Present a professional image, create and maintain good business rapport with all internal and external clients in line with the Corporate Policy guidelines.

Give superior service in a timely and efficient manner. Manage consignment funds.

Perform any other tasks given by the direct manager.

Who are we looking for : Requirements

  • BA degree is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 2 to 3 years of sales or sales merchandising experience preferred but not required, with outside consumer products sales experience a plus.
  • Fluency in English. A second language may be a plus depending on the territory.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with some knowledge of the internet.
