Our Accounting department has an immediate opening for a full-time Payroll Administrator to join our team. Pay range: $65,000.00-75,000.00 per year. Position Qualifications: The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll for more than 450 employees, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and timely. Additionally, s/he prepares data for retirement plan(s), medical and dependent care plans and reimburses employees for approved expenses. S/he would be responsible for ensuring the account coding and journal entries in the payroll system are accurate and complete prior to being posted into the general ledger. S/he would perform monthly reconciliations of the general ledger payroll accounts and participate in the preparation of the agency’s annual audit. The successful candidate will have the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines, multi-task and a penchant for customer service. S/he will be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment. S/he will be able to analyze payroll data and interpret new statutes and rules to maintain compliance. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Ceridian Dayforce payroll application, have strong Microsoft Excel skills and will have a minimum of 5 years of payroll experience. Certified Payroll Professional strongly preferred. JSSA requires all employees to be up to date with their covid vaccinations.
