Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator

Location: On-site(Rockville, MD)

Position Type: Full-Time

Starting Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees across multiple states accurately and timely.
• Manage all aspects of the payroll cycle, including data entry, calculations, and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Respond to inquiries from employees regarding payroll matters and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate recording of payroll-related transactions.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
• Stay current on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience in multi-state payroll processing.
• Ceridian DayForce (Required) 
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
