Jsm Associates is Hiring a Recruiter Near Orlando, FL

JSM Airport Services, LLC (a subsidiary of JSM & Associates, LLC) is currently seeking an experienced recruiter who is highly motivated, self-propelled, and excited to work in a team environment to bring other strong performers onto our team. Here is your opportunity to join a high performance, customer service-oriented team in sunny Orlando, FL. This is the perfect opportunity for growth and development into more senior roles within our Human Resources department.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers. managing relocations, and developing an intern program
  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules, escorting applicants to interviews, and assisting on initial on-boarding activities
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring job offers and compensation practices, and emphasizing benefits and perks
  • Manages intern program by conducting orientations, scheduling rotations and assignments, monitoring intern job contributions, coaching interns, and advising managers on training and coaching
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations

Qualifications:

  • Recruiting and interviewing skills
  • Phone, TEAMS, Zoom and/or other online meeting platform skills
  • Supports company's Affirmative Action, EEOC, and workplace diversity policies
  • Experience with online job board sites such as Indeed, Zip Recruiter, and Monster
  • Familiarity with relevant employment law
  • Professionalism, organization and project management skills
  • Strong computer skills, including a proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint) and electronic applicant tracking software (currently using Applicant Stack)

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2 – 4 years exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full employee life-cycle environment, including recruitment support of multiple and/or remote offices
  • Minimum 2 years experience recruiting in a services industry, preference to technical services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all employees, at all levels within the organization
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Bi-lingual is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to travel to new job sites, when needed, for recruiting (prior to contract start date)
  • Ability to travel to new and current job sites, when needed (anticipated to be minimal in number)
Additional Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all employees, at all levels within the organization
  • Exhibit strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel to new job sites, when needed, for recruiting (prior to contract start date)
  • Ability to travel to new and current job sites, when needed (anticipated to be minimal in number) 
  • Bi-lingual is a plus, but not required
  • The successful candidate must be able to pass a drug screen (we promote/maintain a Drug Free Workplace), a 7-year background driver license check and validation, and a 10-year background check with federal fingerprinting and security threat assessment (when required to obtain airport security clearance/badging)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl on a frequent basis
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to withstand exposure to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Compensation:
Annual Compensation: Beginning at $60,000.00 (Dependent on Experience)

Work Hours:
The normal work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; however, occasional changes in the work schedule may occur, based on operational needs at any of our locations.
