Overview:

Jake's On The Lakes is seeking a part-time Mixologist/Lead Bartender to join our team to help serve out our high quality craft cocktail menu.

Qualifications:

• 3 years experience in the restaurant/beverage industry.
• 3 years experience with mixology or drink making / bartending preferably in a higher end setting.
• Passion for the People, Place and Culture of our community, demonstrating enthusiasm for working in restaurants and providing guest service.
• The ability to patiently train and develop the Bar team.
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol service certification or ability to obtain.
• Available to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, weekends and holidays
• The ability to lift and/or carry a 40 lb load, and also handle heavy beer kegs in a safe manner.
• Must meet local age requirements in order to serve alcohol.
• In depth menu knowledge is necessary to ensure safe service to guests with allergies and restrictions.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures bar products and supplies are well stocked and executing requests in a friendly and timely manner, ascertaining satisfaction throughout and adjusting as necessary.
• Be accountable for maintaining a working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is unavailable for the day as well as accurately accounting for all monetary transactions during your shift.
• Maintain clean and organize bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Complete required side work prior to shift end.
• Experience with pull tab close out an auditing procedures is desired.
• Experience with the Toast POS system a plus.
