The VP of Marketing will assume all marketing responsibilities for the company. You will be responsible for driving the growth of the company through marketing efforts including: P&L results, developing marketing strategy and sales direction, new business development, a vertical marketing plan, and expanding what current customers think of us for. Develop the tools, processes, and incentives to continue to drive business forward. You will also be responsible for the Customer Experience Team and delivering customer excellence.
Specific tasks:
  • Strategic positioning of product lines, including rationalization
  • Work with existing team to determine our customer needs beyond current products and services
  • Build a management team, with an emphasis on product line development, external branding for the sales organization and for customers, communications with customers & sales force, and R&D
  • Determine new products to add to the line and continuously upgrade existing products This includes identifying pricing, packaging, and commission structures to meet the market, and integrate with the existing product line structure
  • Direct the efforts to create and produce all literature, videos, and sales material that goes to the customer and sales force. Develop consistent branding and labeling of products, services, and value
  • Develop exciting programs to incentivize customers to buy and sales force to sell
  • Administer recognition programs for the sales force and for sales management
We require extensive experience and a results-focused senior leader with marketing experience in a business-to-business direct sales environment. Must have experience working with an outside sales organization. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record are essential.
