As a Business Manager IV, you will be responsible for leading and delivering important initiatives for the Surveillance, Disclosure of Interest (DOI), and Control Room groups. Key attributes for the role include the ability to effectively communicate and partner with various stakeholders across different functional areas and geographies, and lead projects and business deliverables in a dynamic fast paced environment.

 Job responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual self-assessment including working with various stakeholders in Compliance, Technology, and Operations to obtain their specific risk assessments and proposed enhancements and track any deliverables resulting from such assessment
• Organize the preparation of the annual threshold review for the Trade Surveillance program and the annual lexicon review for the Communications Surveillance program, working with subject matter experts in these areas and tracking progress including implementation of relevant change management documentation
• Coordinate with the Metrics and Reporting team to perform semi-annual staffing adequacy assessments using a quantitative model to identify whether the program is adequately staffed in connection with alert volumes, filing requirements and research report volumes, as well as other work performed
• Drive the completion of special projects to complete critical work for each function (e.g. assisting with regulatory responses, innovation and other strategic priorities initiatives)
• Manage and track efficiency savings resulting from various technology enhancements and strategic initiatives implemented across programs 
• Provide support with global regulatory exams and inquiries and coordinate responses including by assigning tasks and monitoring progress
• Analyze existing alert types, reports, and other controls and assess whether appropriately mapped to risks listed in the Firm’s controls and operational risk evaluation system
• Evaluate applicable legal and regulatory obligations tracked in the Firm’s systems and map to relevant surveillance alert types, working with subject matter experts to assess any potential gaps

 Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor's Degree 
• 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proven ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders and technology partners
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
