As a Analytics Transformation Manager on the Business Banking Data & Analytics Team (BB D&A), you’ll be an individual contributor in a unique position supporting our team leadership’s initiatives. You’ll partner with various teams to understand customer data and business priorities, generate insights based on impactful segmentation and analytics, influence business decisions that impact customers, and manage our 3rd Party vendor relationships. Reporting directly to the Head of BB D&A, you will lead initiatives across BB D&A as we continue to scale our team of 80 members. You’ll steer the development and execution of our onboarding and training plan, application of controls, and even liaise with our HR and Finance partners as the team grows. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Create roadmaps to track and report the execution of project plans across various functions while ensuring it aligns with the annual work pillars and objectives of both the business and technical executive leadership
  • Partner with Executive Directors, Team Leads, and Colleagues to prepare presentation that provide cohesive, audience tailored stories to share broadly across the firm
  • Develop and prepare content on behalf of team leadership’s communications and various meetings with the organization’s leadership team
  • Coordinate with Finance on developing business cases, roadmaps, and headcount allocations/needs to support top initiatives and ongoing book of work.
  • Track budgets and headcounts for the area and partner with recruitment resources to track opportunity candidates. 
  • Oversee and manage Business Banking’s 3rd party relationships and contracts (e.g. D&B, BAI, Curinos, Barlow, Zoominfo, Profound, etc.) 
  • Act as the liaison between the business, D&A Controls, decision scientists and the controls team to ensure adherence to firmwide and D&A controls.
  • Execute data analysis using processed data (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Alteryx) and develop client ready data visualizations
  • Coordinate internal meetings and updates, and ensure agenda is reflective of latest priorities 
  • Own onboarding activities for new team joiners and coordination of training sessions, and other events/activities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 6 years of related experience in business analytics and project management. 
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with some quantitative component; i.e. Economics, Business, Social Sciences, etc.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills – having ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior business leaders
  • Knowledge of operational and data risks along with firmwide and D&A controls 
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint and MS Excel Skills (incl. Pivot Tables)
  • Moderate ability to build SQL queries
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track
  • Detail oriented, able to understand large amounts of information and provide structure and process where there is confusion
  • Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in your problem solving - you geek out about developing an elegant solution versus just solving a problem via brute force
  • Consulting orientation with ability to influence both internal & external business partners
  • Ability to onboard and manage 3rd party vendor relationships and associated deliverables and management presentations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Management consulting or financial services background a plus
  • Tableau experience is a plus
