JPMC Candidate Experience page is Hiring a Communications Associate - Global Technology Near New York, NY

Global Technology is leading the way at JPMorgan Chase, delivering innovation and change that are the foundation of all our businesses. We need someone who can coordinate and manage distribution of Global Technology-wide email messages while also providing project management for some of our most complex internal events and initiatives.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the distribution and calendar of internal emails to large volumes of Global Technology employees, including those sent by the Global Technology Leadership team.
  • Managing event logistics for senior executive and employee events and site visits, partnering closely with the Global Technology Chief of Staff and JPMorgan Chase events teams.
  • Providing on-the-ground support for Global Technology events.
  • Working closely with the Head of Global Technology, Corporate Center and Market Leadership Communications to manage additional Global Technology communication programs and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the distribution and calendar of internal emails to large volumes of Global Technology employees, including those sent by the Global Technology Leadership team.
  • Act as email “air traffic control” for Global Technology to ensure effective pacing of distributions.
  • Maintain distribution lists that reflect current organization structures. Stay current on organization changes to update these lists accordingly.
  • Proofread, and in some cases draft, email messages prior to distributing them.
  • Execute and track message distributions.
  • Manage event logistics for senior executive and employee events and site visits, including scheduling, booking rooms, audio / video requirements, invitations, catering, RSVP tracking, transportation, attendance summaries, etc.
  • Leverage the firm’s collaboration tools to support and supplement in-person events and meetings, including for registration and follow-up surveys as appropriate.
  • Maintain a master events calendar, working closely with the Global Technology Chief of Staff.
  • Work closely with the Head of Global Technology, Corporate Center and Market Leadership Communications to manage additional Global Technology programs and initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • 3 – 5 years of professional communications and/or event management experience.
  • Self-starter who can manage and prioritize multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines while delivering high quality product. 
  • Superb execution and organizational skills; attention to detail is a must.
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with all levels of employees across the company.
  • Demonstrated experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing skills with an interest in growing and developing in this area. Experience drafting and editing business messages.
